Ok so you’ve seen the crazy beds AND the crazy baths, so now it’s time for the crazy toilets! And there are definitely some weird ones out there! From eco friendly to just pure glamorous, there’s a toilet out there to suit everyone. Have a look at what the world has to offer…
The Super toilet
First up must be the most technologically advanced loo out there. It may look just like any normal toilet with an intriguing electronics box on the wall, but that box is what makes this particular toilet fascinating. Invented by the Japanese and costing between $500 and $5000 depending on your taste, it has an impressive specification including an integrated bidet with temperature control, blow drier, heated seats or air conditioning depending on the time of year, automatic lid with proximity sensor, automatic flushing, and some even play music. What more could you want?!
The Fish Tank toilet
Following on from the crazy baths, there’s also a fish tank toilet too! Definitely a topic of conversation and don’t worry, the fish won’t get flushed away!
The All in One toilet
This toilet has it all…literally! Incorporating a sink, toilet, mirror and vanity table all into one, it’s eco-friendly design ensures that as little water as possible is wasted, giving you the option to store the water used for washing your hands for flushing the toilet later.
The Glow in the Dark toilet
Ever woken someone up turning the light on when you needed the loo? Well worry no further because this simple invention solves all your problems! A glow in the dark strip that charges from the sun and simply attaches to you toilet, illuminates where you need to sit. And it only costs $10!
The Washing Machine toilet
Conscious that you’re wasting water in your home? Then check out the toilet that has a washing machine attached! It saves the water from your washing to flush the toilets with afterwards, saving water and money! Its also creates space in your house because you’ll no longer need an ordinary washing machine in another room!
The See Through toilet
Maybe not in your home, but out in public this toilet could get a bit embarrassing! The glass walls appear opaque when unoccupied, but as soon as someone enters, the motion sensors detect them and turn the glass into mirrors so passers by can’t see in. However the downside to this toilet is that if you’re inside and haven’t moved in a while, the glass will turn back to windows potentially causing embarrassment to you and the public outside! Lesson to be learned? Just don’t sit too still when you’re on this toilet!
The Diamanté toilet
Possibly the most glam toilet out there, this diamante encrusted toilet will set you back $75,000! Not exactly low priced, but it certainly would be a focal point of the bathroom! And if you’re feeling rich there’s a matching sink and bathtub too.
And a couple of accessories…
Glow in the Dark toilet paper
Perfect to match the glow in the dark toilet, you’ll never lose your toilet paper at night again!
Sudoku toilet paper
Ever get bored when sat on the loo? Not when you’ve got some Sudoku toilet paper you won’t! Maybe not the best idea when you’ve got guests round, unless you mind them spending the whole time in the bathroom!
What do you think? Are any of you now inspired to invest in one of these strangely alluring toilets? Or would you like to see any of these designs on your next stay at NH?
