An extraordinary Michelin Stars gastronomic proposals for 2016

NH Hotel Group’s gastronomic wager this year starts with two very unique phenomenon. Alinea restaurant held by the three Michelin Stars Grant Achatz has moved to our NH Collection Eurobuilding, and we’ve opened Roomservice at Olof’s, a pop-up restaurant in the oldest chapel in Amsterdam led by one Michelin Star, Chef Chris Naylor.

Alinea Madrid

One of the most influential chefs of contemporary cuisine nowadays, Grant Achatz, has moved his Alinea restaurant in Chicago to our NH Collection Eurobuilding. From January 12th to February 6th, Tuesday to Sunday, Alinea Madrid offers an exclusive experience for diners.

Alinea in residence aims to offer two distinct and amazing gastronomic experiences in Madrid.

From January 12th to 16th, Alinea offered an Up/Down dinner collaboration with DiverXO, Dabiz Muñoz’s restaurant located in the lower level of NH Collection Eurobuilding. Guests began in one of the restaurants and then, after the first menu, guests would journey to the other restaurant. An outstanding experience is the result of two different menus, two different styles and two different locations in one soirée.

To fulfill the experience of what a dinner is like in Alinea Chicago, Chef Achatz also brought Beverage Director of The Aviary in Chicago, Micah Melton, to manage The Office. Recreating the VIP bar ‘The Aviary’ in Chicago, filled with art and antiques, The Office’s been used as a transition location from one experience to the other.

For the second experience, Chef Achatz, chef Bagale (head chef of Alinea) and the team of his headquarters in Chicago offers a degustation menu, prepared exclusively for their residence in NH Collection Eurobuilding, honoring the culinary heritage of Spain. From 19th of January until 6th of February you can still enjoy this savory yet temporary experience.

Roomservice at Olof’s

Located in the oldest chapel in Amsterdam, the Saint Olof’s Chapel, One Michelin Star Chef Chris Naylor, known as the Executive Chef of Restaurant Vermeer (Part of NH Collection Barbizon Palace) opened a pop-up restaurant.

Chef Chris Naylor aims to put vegetables and herbs in the spotlight and serves fish and meat as a side dishes. The dishes are paired with the best wines and great stories that come along with them.

The interior is entirely designed with hotel elements from the adjacent NH Collection Barbizon Palace to bring the intimacy and scale of a hotel room. An impressive collage of bedside tables, bedside lamps, mini-bars and other characteristic items from hotel rooms. Roomservice at Olof’s even has a Fever-Tree cocktail bar and the first vermouth bar of the Netherlands.

You can either walk in and take a seat or make your reservation beforehand. It’s open every day until April 30th.

These pop-up restaurants are a true commitment of our company to offer only the greatest experiences to our guests. Don’t miss this culinary delights!
