Discover Spain while indulging in Luxury

Indulge in luxury with the NH Collection hotels that seek to surprise guests by anticipating their every need. Each hotel has been carefully selected and designed to provide you with a peaceful retreat, right in the heart of your favourite city. Today we’ve designed a special journey throughout Spain so you can discover or re-discover this warm southern European country while enjoying peaceful retreats brimming with history, culture and authenticity.

Our journey begins in Madrid, Spain´s capital city, which boasts art, culture and non-stop entertainment. Madrid is also a haven for foodies and the best place to take it all in is our four-star NH Paseo del Prado hotel, located in a beautiful 19th century building, right in the middle of the historical district. You´ll be minutes away by foot from the Golden Triangle of Art comprised of the Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza and Reina Sofia museums. Overlooking the Fountain of Neptune, one of the city’s most emblematic highlights, the luxurious hotel is decorated in marble and Spanish walnut, with deep, elegant carpets produced at the Royal Tapestry Factory, a small quaint museum close by you shouldn’t miss.
In the neighbourhood, you´ll be able to treat yourself to an endless variety of homemade tapas and Spanish traditional cuisine in any of the charming restaurants and gastro bars around. The hotel also features the Estado Puro restaurant, a new tapas bar concept by legendary Michelin Star Spanish chef, Paco Roncero.

Hop on a train at the Recoletos station, minutes away from the hotel, to arrive 45 minutes later to a little jewel of a town, which is often missed but one you´ll be wanting to come back to. Aranjuez is a Royal Estate and Villa, which was once the exclusive springtime residence of royalty and its 700 families of servants. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this peaceful oasis on the banks of the Tagus River houses a palace, embellished by the Bourbons in the 18th century to echo the design of Versailles.

By far, the best place to stay at is the NH Principe de la Paz hotel, located in an 18th century building, once destined to be the residential palace of Sir Manuel Godoy, a favourite of King Carlos IV. Right in the old part of town, the rooms face the stunning views of the Royal Palace. The main hotel lounge is another of the hotel highlights: it was a military riding school, which now provides an excellent atmosphere to enjoy a cocktail. Fit to suit a King and Queen.

From Madrid, head south for our last destination and a relaxing stay in the hedonistic region of Andalusia, known for its capital city of Seville. Although these cities can, at times, seem worlds apart from each other, they do have one thing in common: the high-speed train, a delightful 2 hours ride from Madrid.

Seville will greet you with its narrow, winding lanes and hidden plazas soaked in the scent of orange blossom. Flamenco, bullfighting, a wide range of architectural treasures including Roman, Gothic, Renaissance and baroque and an endless amount of bars and gourmet eateries so you can indulge in the finest tapas in the South.

Need time to relax? Enjoy a swim in the pool while you have a cocktail at the 4-star NH Central Convenciones hotel. It´s privileged location, in the city’s new “Golden Mile”, is just two metro stops away or a 15-minute walk to the historic district.

These are just a few of the NH Collection Hotels available in Spain. Now, all you have to do is get here so we can take care of the rest.
