It is with pleasure that we announce that our upper upscale brand, NH Collection, has recently expanded its offerings in eight cities and now has eight new establishments in Europe and America.

Madrid, Quito, Brussels, Porto, Taormina, Zaragoza, Frankfurt and Berlin are the cities that now have new NH Collection Hotels, adding to the 48 hotels we already operate in 37 cities around the world.

All of the hotels are situated in strategic locations in the main international destinations of Europe and Latin America. They are always housed in distinctive properties which have been carefully restored and preserved with the goal of captivating guests who are looking for a unique and memorable experience.

Our first stop is Madrid, home to NH Collection Paseo del Prado. Located across from the Prado Museum, this building draws attention with its Neo-Baroque style. It was designed by the architect Antonio Palacios, who also left his mark on the Cybele Palace. One of the best kept secrets of this hotel is on the top floor, where you can find a gym and spectacular panoramic views of the city. Additionally, the tapas bar serves small treats created by 2 Michelin Star Chef, Paco Roncero.

In Quito, just a few steps from the finance district, the World Trade Center, and some of the area’s best restaurants, you’ll find NH Collection Quito Royal. It is located only 15 minutes from the historic center and has 112 rooms, many of which have spectacular views of the mountains surrounding the city.

Incredible views can also be found from the terrace of NH Collection Brussels Centre, formerly known as NH Atlanta Brussels. Its location is perfect: five minutes from Brussels main square and very close to famous landmarks such as the Manneken Pis and Rue Nueve, the most famous commercial street in the city. Its building is a jewel in itself, which was constructed in the 1920s and maintains its original staircase.

This isn’t the only exceptional location. Look no further than NH Collection Porto Batalha which is located in an 18th century palace that was originally home to an important wine producing family, and later served as the headquarters for the city’s postal service. Even though the hotel has been completely renovated, it still preserves the essence of the old city in its historic façade and elegant decoration. From the hotel, you can easily access all of the attractions that make this city a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

From Portugal we travel to Italy, where we will find the 5-star NH Collection Taormina, in the center of its namesake city, on the eastern coast of Sicily. The building combines details of the early 20th century with modern touches that give it a truly spectacular character. Additionally, the primary commercial street in the city, Corso Umberto I, is nearby.

Another 5-star hotel is NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, located in Amsterdam’s main square with magnificent views of the Royal Palace. The building, which was constructed in 1855, offers a privileged location from which you can visit the best shops in the city and is near the lively Red Light District.

In Frankfurt, NH Collection Frankfurt City, formerly known as the NH Frankfurt City Center, offers travelers everything they need, whether they are travelling for business or simply want to explore the city. It is located only five minutes from Frankfurt’s famous exhibition hall and a just a few steps away from the city center.

Also in Germany, NH Collection Berlin Friedrichstrasse, formerly known as the NH Berlin Friedrichstrasse, is located on the world-famous Friedrichstrasse Street, near places of interest and Berlin’s most famous shopping districts. It is also just a few steps away from the Brandenburg Gate and Unter den Linden, the historic, tree-lined boulevard in Berlin.

These are our new NH Collection hotels, but they aren’t alone! From now until the end of the year, we will grow from 48 to 64 establishments. Keep an eye out and we’ll keep you posted!
