Palacio de Tepa, Madrid

This month’s theme wouldn’t be complete without a post dedicated to some of our very own dynamic designs. We think the design is a fundamental part of your stay with us and making you feel good whenever you are traveling is our most important task. Sit back, relax and enjoy these NH Hoteles interior designs!

Palacio de Tepa

NH Palacio de Tepa is an incredibly renovated 19th-century aristocratic mansion in the heart of Madrid’s Barrio de las Letras district in Madrid. The interior design is an ambitious restoration project that turned a neoclassical mansion into a luxurious five-star hotel. The creation of this design jewel lies in the hands of Jorge Durán and Juan de Villanueva, who won the European Hotel Design Awards in London within the category of ‘Best building renovation for hotel use in 2011’. These prestigious awards valued the detailed refurbishment plan that has been able to preserve the building’s original vaults, its characteristic balconies and the water tank and galleries which once traversed the site of today´s Palace to supply the city of Madrid.

At the NH Palacio de Tepa hotel, our 85 elegantly furnished guest accommodations include unique two-story suites. Each room features singular details reflecting the hotel’s 18th century Spanish architecture, with recent renovations that add modern convenience to historical splendor.

Get swept away by the fusion between fashion, original design, and elegance at the nhow MilanoEvery room at the nhow Milano boasts creativity. All 246 rooms are designed as eclectic multiform spaces, inspired to make you feel right at home. Rooms are designed to stimulate the senses, with a blend of hyper-functionality and quickness that uses an original color palette to decorate walls, furniture and windows.

If you’re up for a late night cocktail, head down to the recently redesigned nhow Milano bar.  Designed by renowned New York designer Karim Rashid, the project involved four additional design companies to produce innovative and exclusive interior design objects and artworks that make up the new nhow Milano bar.

nhow Berlin

nhow Berlin

Music is an inseparable and key part of the nhow Berlin experience but the interior “Pop Art” design is what makes your stay unforgettable. By just entering the lobby you will get lost amongst an array of bubbly and bright  fresh colored rounded forms and clear lines which create spaces that are much more appealing than a simple four walls and a ceiling. The exaggerated, playful and exuberant designs of Rashid are meant to allow the beholder to enter another world for the duration of their stay while acting as a backdrop for creative inspiration. When designing the nhow, he was constantly reminded of the essence of Berlin as a city, music and rhythm.

Now it’s your turn! Which one of our NH Hotels do you think stands out for it’s dynamic design?
